The Miami Championship, which begins on April 30, will take place at Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida. Trump National Doral, which hosted the World Golf Championships Cadillac Championship until 2016, will host a PGA Tour event for the first time in ten years. The Miami Championship is one of the nine signature events held throughout the year.
It has been a long time since a tournament was held at a golf course owned by President Trump. In 2022, the PGA Championship was scheduled to be held at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, but after the incident in early 2021 when President Trump's fervent supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol, the venue was changed.

Trump Turnberry, a golf course owned by President Trump in Scotland, was also one of the courses for The Open. However, after the 2021 U.S. Capitol riot, The R&A, which organizes The Open, announced that it would not hold The Open at Turnberry. However, there have been reports this year that, with President Trump back in office, The R&A is considering the possibility of hosting The Open at Turnberry again in the future.
