Dongwon F&B has selected the ice cream business as a new growth engine and has begun a full-scale expansion into this category.
On August 19, Dongwon F&B announced the launch of its first ice cream product, the 'Denmark Hej Greek Frozen Yogurt.'
This new product is made by freezing Greek yogurt from the premium dairy brand 'Denmark Hej!' It delivers the refreshing taste of Greek yogurt along with the smooth and rich flavor of milk. The product contains Danish lactic acid bacteria and, per 100ml, has only 2g of sugar and 0.6g of fat, making it a low-sugar, low-fat option. The price is 14,900 KRW for 474ml.
Dongwon F&B plans to continue introducing differentiated ice cream products by leveraging its expertise in dairy and beverage manufacturing, which it has accumulated over more than 40 years. With a diverse portfolio that includes fermented milk, white milk, processed milk, coffee, as well as beverages such as matcha and black tea, the company expects its ice cream offerings to be highly competitive in the market.
