View original imageAccording to the Korea Meteorological Administration, 5 to 20 mm of rain is forecast for the Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and Chungnam. Showers are expected in the afternoon in eastern Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, Jeolla, and inland Gyeongsang regions.
The highest daytime temperatures are forecast to range from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. As of 5 a.m., temperatures in major cities are as follows: Seoul 27.0°C, Incheon 26.4°C, Suwon 26.2°C, Chuncheon 23.5°C, Gangneung 29.5°C, Cheongju 27.2°C, Daejeon 26.2°C, Jeonju 25.7°C, Gwangju 26.1°C, Jeju 26.8°C, Daegu 27.0°C, Busan 26.9°C, Ulsan 26.1°C, and Changwon 25.4°C.
Fine dust concentrations nationwide are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels.
