Park Jiwon: "Haenam, Wando, and Jindo Secure 4.4 Billion Won in Special Grants from Interior Ministry"

Special Grants Distributed to Haenam, Wando, and Jindo for Local Projects
Park Jiwon, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea (representing Haenam, Wando, and Jindo in South Jeolla Province), announced on August 14 that a total of 4.4 billion won in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety has been allocated to Haenam County, Wando County, and Jindo County.
By region, 1.4 billion won was allocated to Haenam County, 1.4 billion won to Wando County, and 1.6 billion won to Jindo County. In Haenam County, the following projects were included: 600 million won for the renovation of an aging water purification plant, 400 million won for the installation of lighting towers at the Second Sports Town, and 400 million won for repairs to the Hwaweon Wolha 2 Reservoir.
In Wando County, the allocations include 1 billion won for the construction of a parking tower in the Gaepo District of Wando-eup, and 400 million won for the maintenance of the Jeongja 2 small stream in Bogil-myeon. In Jindo County, 1.2 billion won was allocated for reinforcement work to prevent rockfall hazards on the Dumokjae Road in Gogun-myeon, and 400 million won for the installation of a waterway in the Jindo Suyu District.
