BNK Kyongnam Bank announced that it has become the first regional bank to launch the "Noranusan Gongje" (Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid) service on its mobile banking application, and has been running a customer event since August 1.
Noranusan Gongje is a mutual aid program operated by the Korea Federation of SMEs to support the livelihood stability of small businesses and self-employed individuals. It offers benefits such as a maximum annual income tax deduction of 6 million won, annual compound interest payments, and incentive grants from local governments for those who wish to receive them.
Kyongnam Bank has established processes within its mobile banking app to enable sole proprietors to easily access Noranusan Gongje, including paperless enrollment via MyData, automatic subscription form completion, and real-time subscription. To use the service, customers simply need to access the "Product Management" menu on the Kyongnam Bank mobile banking app and select "Noranusan."
Subscription and change services are available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., while withdrawals can be made from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
To commemorate the launch of Noranusan Gongje, a customer event will be held until September 30. During the event period, the first 300 customers who subscribe to the mutual aid program with an amount of at least 100,000 won will receive a 20,000 won cashback on a first-come, first-served basis.
