View original imageHope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (President Song Pilho) announced on August 7 that the Seoul Saemaeul Geumgo ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Women Leaders Club (President Lee Oknyeo) donated 15.5 million won to help neighbors affected by flood damage.
Lee Oknyeo, President of the Seoul Saemaeul Geumgo ESG Women Leaders Club, stated, "We decided to participate with the hope that we could offer some support to neighbors who have lost their homes and are struggling due to the heavy rainfall," adding, "We will continue the club's activities based on ESG practices to fulfill our social responsibilities."
Since 2022, the Seoul Saemaeul Geumgo ESG Women Leaders Club has been actively engaged in community care and solidarity, beginning with support for single-parent family welfare facilities in Seoul, providing sanitary pads for female adolescents in 2023, and sponsoring alternative schools for North Korean defector youths in 2024. The donation for flood recovery is part of the club's ongoing social contribution efforts.
