Hyundai Motor Group Launches "Gift Car Play On" Campaign to Support Youth Sports Teams
Hyundai Motor Group announced on August 7 that it is launching the "Gift Car Play On" campaign to support the dreams of future generations and contribute to their healthy growth.
Since 2010, the "Gift Car Campaign" has been one of Hyundai Motor Group's flagship social contribution initiatives, utilizing vehicles in various fields in need of support, such as assisting entrepreneurship among vulnerable groups, supporting learning at local children's centers, blood donation, and emergency safety education. Through these efforts, the campaign has contributed to solving social issues and promoting the public good. This year marks the 15th edition of the campaign, and it will support youth sports teams affiliated with elementary, middle, and high schools that are experiencing operational difficulties.
Youth sports activities not only help physical development by improving basic fitness, but also foster social skills and a sense of cooperation based on fair competition and teamwork. They have a positive impact in various areas, including enhancing concentration and thinking skills, cultivating a sense of responsibility, and promoting emotional stability. Despite these benefits, public and societal awareness of the importance of youth sports is gradually declining. Ongoing attention and support are also insufficient.
