Hankook & Company Provides Relief Supplies for Heavy Rain Victims
Emergency Relief Supplies Provided Across Chungcheongnam-do
Hankook & Company, the holding company of Hankook & Company Group, announced on July 24 that it will provide relief supplies to assist residents of Chungcheongnam-do affected by heavy rainfall, as well as volunteers working at recovery sites.
With the hope of helping flood victims in Chungcheongnam-do, including Seosan and Yesan, which were among the areas first designated as special disaster zones, return to their daily lives as quickly as possible, the company delivered 10,000 pieces of bread through the Chungcheongnam-do Volunteer Center. In addition, it provided a total of approximately 3,000 items to prevent heat-related illnesses for volunteers participating in recovery efforts, including sun-blocking hats, cooling sleeves, and cooling scarves.
The relief supplies will be delivered in sequence to the affected sites through volunteer centers in cities and counties across Chungcheongnam-do that suffered damage from the heavy rainfall.
