According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be located on the edge of the North Pacific High on this day. The morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, while the afternoon highs are expected to range from 30 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the seas off the west and south coasts are expected to be around 1 meter high, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is projected to remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Meteorological Administration stated, "In areas where showers occur, temperatures will temporarily drop, but after the rain stops, humidity will remain high and daytime temperatures will rise, causing the maximum perceived temperature to exceed 33 degrees Celsius. Infants, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with chronic illnesses are particularly vulnerable to heat-related illnesses, so please take care of your health."
