SPC Group Conducts Joint Labor-Management Safety Inspections at 24 Production Centers
Follow-up Measures After the Siwha Production Center Safety Accident
Inspection of Risk Factors and Immediate Improvement Actions Implemented
On June 18, SPC Group announced that, in order to strengthen safety management, it had established joint labor-management safety councils at all affiliate production centers and conducted joint safety inspections involving labor, management, and external experts.
This inspection was carried out as a follow-up measure to the safety accident that occurred on May 19 at the SPC Samlip Siwha Production Center.

View original imageThe inspections were conducted at 24 production centers nationwide belonging to major affiliates such as SPC Samlip, Paris Croissant, and BR Korea. The process involved participation from labor unions, the company, and external safety agencies. Union chairpersons and delegates from each production center, center managers and safety management staff, as well as external safety experts, participated to thoroughly inspect potential hazards at each site. Immediate improvement actions were also implemented on site.
Starting with the SPC Samlip Siwha Production Center on May 22, SPC had completed safety inspections at a total of 22 production centers as of June 17, and plans to finish inspecting all production centers by June 21. The company aims to complete improvements on identified issues by the end of June and will promptly proceed with additional investments where necessary.
