President Lee Jaemyung presided over a meeting of the 'Emergency Economic Monitoring Task Force (TF)' and reviewed the capacity for formulating an additional supplementary budget.
On the night of June 4, presidential spokesperson Kang Yujeong stated in a briefing at 10:10 p.m., "President Lee specifically inquired about the immediate economic stimulus effects that a supplementary budget would bring and called for proactive measures to boost the economy."
She added, "He said that regardless of rank, anyone with small ideas or legislative requests should feel free to make suggestions at any time," and explained, "President Lee provided his personal phone number and requested that people contact him directly via personal social media or by phone."
On his first day in office, President Lee plans to stay at a secure residence prepared separately by the presidential office. Spokesperson Kang reported that the official residence in Hannam-dong is currently under inspection and a decision regarding the residence will be made at a later time.

Meanwhile, President Lee issued an order for dispatched and transferred public officials to return to their original posts, and as a result, most personnel are expected to return by tomorrow (June 5).
