Gwanak-gu Invites EBS Jung Seungik for Special Lecture on Self-Directed Learning Methods
First-Come, First-Served Registration for 350 Middle and High School Students and Parents
Gwanak-gu in Seoul will hold a special lecture titled "Self-Directed Learning Methods for Real Study and Real Life" for middle and high school students and their parents on June 21.
This special lecture has been organized in response to the college admissions reform and the introduction of the high school credit system, which have elevated self-directed learning abilities as a key competitive factor in the comprehensive student record screening process. The event aims to help students design their own learning processes and develop their inquiry skills, while also alleviating parents’ concerns about entrance exams.
Jung Seungik, a leading EBS CSAT English instructor, will serve as the lecturer. He will guide students in evaluating their own study methods, cultivating the right mindset for genuine learning, and adopting effective self-directed learning strategies. In addition, he will share his "CSAT English First Grade Challenge Study Method" for students who struggle with English.
The event is open to second and third-year middle school students, first-year high school students, and their parents residing in Gwanak-gu. Participation is limited to the first 350 applicants. Registration opens at 6:00 p.m. on June 2 via the Gwanak Career and Vocational Experience Support Center website (www.youth0824.com). For further inquiries, please contact the Gwanak Career and Vocational Experience Support Center at 02-873-8815~7.
