Gwangsan District in Gwangju Launches Online Integrated System for National Heritage Utilization Programs
Gwangsan District in Gwangju has completely revamped the Wolbong Seowon website and integrated reservation system, launching the new services on May 28.
The district announced that it has redesigned the layout and menu structure to allow citizens to easily view and reserve national heritage utilization programs at a glance. With this update, a responsive web environment has been established, making the services accessible on various devices such as smartphones and tablets.
The renewed website harmoniously blends the unique image and traditional content flow of Wolbong Seowon with a modern sensibility to reflect its identity. The integrated reservation system has enhanced features for managing applications and waitlists by program, and has introduced an automated text messaging service to improve operational efficiency and user convenience.
The Wolbong Seowon website provides information on national heritage sites in Gwangsan District, such as seowon and traditional houses, while the integrated reservation system serves as an online platform for searching and applying for utilization programs.
Park Byungkyu, the head of the district office, stated, "We are the first in the nation to introduce an integrated reservation service for national heritage utilization," and added, "We will enhance accessibility and satisfaction for citizens through online services that align with digital government innovation."
