Busan Office of Education Holds "Digital Sexual Violence Prevention Training" for 350 Teachers... Deepfake Response Included
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) announced that it will conduct a "Digital Sexual Violence Prevention Capacity Building Training" for approximately 350 middle and high school teachers responsible for student guidance and education. The training will take place at 3 p.m. on May 13 in the main auditorium of the Educational Research and Information Institute.
This training has been organized to enhance teachers' ability to respond to digital sex crimes such as deepfakes and illegal filming, which have recently emerged as significant social issues, and to support student guidance in schools.
The training session will be led by lawyer Jo Yunhee, an instructor commissioned by the Legal Education Center under the Ministry of Justice. The lecture will focus on the following topics: types and characteristics of digital sexual violence, analysis of actual cases of deepfake sex crimes, and prevention and response strategies centered on the school environment.
In particular, the session will address legal response measures in detail, focusing on real cases of newly emerging digital sex crimes. It will also present counseling and guidance methods so that teachers can provide effective preventive education to students.
