View original imageThe Daejeon Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced that on the afternoon of May 12, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Army Training Command at the Big Data Open Lab at Chungnam National University to strengthen AI and data education and information sharing.
Under the agreement, the Promotion Agency will operate AI and data education programs for officers of the Army Training Command to support the digital transformation of the military education system.
The Army Training Command will participate in the Defense Industry Innovation Cluster project, providing consulting on advanced technology fields such as drones, robotics, and artificial intelligence. In addition, a cooperative system will be established through data analysis and the opening of public data between the Promotion Agency's Big Data Open Lab and the Army Training Command's Data Lab.
Lee Eunhak, Director of the Promotion Agency, stated, "This agreement is an important opportunity to support the modernization of the military education system through Daejeon's public data and AI education capabilities," adding, "The Promotion Agency will further enhance the value of public data utilization through close cooperation with the Army Training Command."
