The lecture covered four main topics: climate change and large-scale disasters, wildfire damage and disaster warning delivery systems, disaster recovery system development, and the necessity of introducing overseas case studies and new technologies.
Professor Lee stressed, "Wildfires are disasters that are difficult to recover from in a short period of time," and added, "Above all, it is important to establish a preemptive system based on science and technology."
Kim Jusu, the governor of Uiseong County, stated, "Wildfires are more than just natural disasters; they have a serious impact on the lives of our residents and the local economy. I hope this lecture will raise employees' awareness and serve as an opportunity to reaffirm their sense of responsibility for the safety of the community."
