Dongdaemun District Renovates "Wall of Sharing" for Outstanding Social Welfare Donors
Sixty Outstanding Donors (Individuals and Organizations) Who Donated Over 10 Million Won Recognized
Dongdaemun District in Seoul (District Mayor Lee Pilhyeong) announced on April 30 that it has newly renovated the "Wall of Sharing" located in the lobby on the first floor of the district office, displaying the names of 60 outstanding donors (individuals and organizations).
The "Wall of Sharing" was established in 2023 to express gratitude to donors who have practiced warm sharing in the field of social welfare and to promote a culture of giving within the local community.
Individuals and businesses become eligible for display by donating at least 10 million won, and organizations by donating at least 15 million won. Starting this year, the scope of recognition has been expanded to include not only participants in the "Warm Winter Campaign" (from November 2024 to February 2025), but also those who donated to the Dongdaemun District Social Welfare Council, Food Market, and Food Bank.
