Chungnam Province Holds Integrated Coastal Village Leaders Association Meeting
Sharing Fisheries Policies and Strengthening Capabilities
The 2025 Chungnam Province Coastal Village Leaders Association meeting was held on the 24th at Boryeong Bay Su, with about 200 attendees.
View original imageThe Chungnam Province Fisheries Resources Research Institute announced that on the afternoon of April 24, it held the "2025 Chungnam Province Integrated Coastal Village Leaders Association" at Dongbaek Hall in Boryeong Base, with about 200 participants including coastal village heads and outstanding leaders from the province.
The training covered topics such as the Aquaculture License Review and Evaluation System (National Institute of Fisheries Science), TAC (Total Allowable Catch) Operation Directions (Korea Fisheries Resources Agency), and the introduction of exemplary cases and log-writing methods for self-managed communities (Chungnam Province Fisheries Resources Research Institute). In addition, participants discussed future development strategies for coastal regions.
Before the training, three outstanding coastal village leaders who made significant contributions to the development of coastal regions, including Oh Gyejin, head of the Hyojado coastal village in Boryeong City, received commendations.
Jeon Sangwook, Director of the Provincial Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Bureau, stated, "We will continue to regularly hold the Coastal Village Leaders Association to strengthen the capabilities of coastal village leaders and expand opportunities for communication."
