Busan Office of Education Teacher Healing Center Holds 'Psychological Test Day' in First Half of Year
Individual and Group Counseling
Tailored Emotional and Psychological Healing Sessions Provided
The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will operate the first half of the year’s “Psychological Test Day” through the Teacher Healing Center for 155 teachers who applied (72 for individual counseling, 83 for group counseling) throughout April.
“Psychological Test Day” is designed to support teachers in maintaining stable educational activities by diagnosing their psychological and emotional states and providing tailored healing programs.
The program, held every Monday, involves 10 professional counselors administering a total of 10 types of emotional assessments and 3 types of personality tests to participating teachers, including the MMPI-2 (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory), TBI (Teacher Burnout Inventory), K-IIP (Korean Inventory of Interpersonal Problems), TCI (Temperament and Character Inventory), and MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator).
Teachers who undergo psychological testing receive counseling on the results from experts and, depending on the findings, can request additional psychological counseling or specialized treatment. All costs for psychological tests are fully covered by the city office of education, and up to 10 sessions of subsequent counseling and treatment are also supported.
