[Seoul Mobility Show] BYD Unveils Mid-Size Sedan 'Seal'... "Price Range 47.5M~52.5M Won Under Discussion"
Atto 3 Completes Domestic Certification Yesterday Afternoon
Full-Scale Deliveries Begin
BYD Korea showcased eight representative models, including the second model targeting the Korean market, the mid-size sedan 'SEAL', at the Seoul Mobility Show on the 3rd.
BYD Korea unveiled the mid-size sedan SEAL at the '2025 Seoul Mobility Show' held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, from the 3rd to the 13th.
Jo In-cheol, CEO of BYD Korea, said, "We are striving to offer the most reasonable price to Korean customers," adding, "Discussions are underway in the range of 47.5 million to 52.5 million KRW." He continued, "The exact launch schedule is undecided, but pre-orders will begin from today, and we will do our best to enable delivery as soon as possible."
The BYD mid-size sedan SEAL is the world's first mass-produced model equipped with innovative 'CTB (Cell to Body)' technology. Based on the 'Ocean Aesthetics' design concept, it features a dynamic and stylish design. With optimized aerodynamic design, it achieves an air resistance coefficient of 0.219Cd.
The acceleration time from a standstill to 100 km/h is 3.8 seconds (based on the AWD model). The driving range is up to 520 km according to European certification (WLTP standard).
Meanwhile, CEO Jo announced that the domestic certification for the compact SUV Atto 3, launched earlier this year in the domestic market, was completed yesterday afternoon. He said, "We thank the customers who have waited," and added, "We will begin full-scale delivery of the Atto 3."
On this day, BYD Korea introduced the Atto 3, SEAL, the mid-size electric SUV Sealion 7, the flagship large SUV U8 and electric super sports car U9 from the premium brand Yangwang, the 7-seater plug-in hybrid MPV D9 from the luxury brand Denza, the high-performance luxury sports sedan Z9GT, and the plug-in hybrid SUV BAO 5 from the specialized customization brand Formula Bao, all for the first time in Korea.
