Standing on the river flowing between Safari World and Lost Valley, a scene straight out of a TV documentary unfolded. As I stepped along the pontoon, a floating footbridge laid across the narrow river, various wild animals such as hyenas, lions, and elands appeared. 'Kosiki,' an elephant over thirty years old, strolled leisurely, while on one side, a pair of giraffe sisters were grazing.
This is Everland's newly introduced safari walking exploration program, 'River Trail Adventure.' Visitors can vividly encounter over 30 animals from 9 different species up close. Walking along the 110-meter-long pontoon, guests immerse themselves in this unique experience for 15 minutes. Safety is ensured with 1,500 safety fences installed for visitors' protection.

The 'River Trail,' where visitors can stroll through Safari World and observe animals up close, and the 'Four Seasons Garden Pass,' which opens previously undisclosed natural gardens, are ambitiously introduced. Especially popular among the 20s and 30s generation, the 'Sanrio Characters' have made a full appearance, drawing 200,000 visitors to Everland in the past ten days, generating a heated response.
Everland opened its Tulip Festival on the 21st of last month. According to Samsung C&T Resort Division, the festival has received tremendous response, attracting 200,000 visitors within ten days of opening. An Everland official explained, "In the second collaboration season with the global IP (intellectual property) Sanrio Characters, expanding character content that stimulates customers' five senses?from themed zones for each character to performances, merchandise, and food?has received a great response."

From Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Kuromi to Han Gyodong, Kerokerokeroppi, and Usahana, who have recently risen as 'rising stars' among young people, nine Sanrio Characters can be met in one place. Finding characters hidden throughout Everland, such as Kuromi transformed into a 'Fortune Teller,' is also fun.
In the gigantic 'Four Seasons Garden' of about 10,000㎡, used as the main stage of the festival, 11 themed zones for each character are set up, including a Hello Kitty topiary made of fresh spring flowers, a 7-meter-high Cinnamoroll sculpture, and My Melody's Flower Balloon Garden. The original performance featuring Sanrio Characters, debuting overseas for the first time, is also held here. Popular characters like Hello Kitty and Kuromi showcase their dance skills to music.
