Air Busan Launches In-Flight Duty-Free Liquor Discount Promotion... No Bottle Limit
Up to 45% Off on 34 Types of Liquor and Double Discount Promotion
Following Removal of Duty-Free Liquor Bottle Limit
Fixed Exchange Rate of 1,430 KRW per Dollar Applied in April
Enjoy In-Flight Duty-Free at More Reasonable Prices than the Market
Air Busan (CEO Jung Byungsub) is launching an in-flight duty-free discount promotion in response to the removal of the bottle limit on duty-free liquor.
Since the amendment to the Enforcement Rules of the Customs Act on March 21, the previous limit of two bottles for duty-free liquor carried by travelers has been abolished. Now, travelers can bring in duty-free liquor within a 2-liter volume and a $400 price limit, regardless of the number of bottles.
Accordingly, Air Busan is offering up to 45% off on 34 types of liquor for customers who were hesitant to purchase due to the previous bottle limit. In addition, a "double discount" promotion is being held, where customers can receive up to 45% off when purchasing two selected in-flight duty-free items.
This promotion is only applicable to in-flight purchases and will run throughout the month of April.
Furthermore, Air Busan applies a fixed monthly exchange rate to in-flight duty-free items so that customers can enjoy lower prices compared to the market. For April, a fixed rate of 1,430 KRW per US dollar, which is lower than the current market rate, will be applied. This allows customers, who have recently felt burdened by rising exchange rates, to use in-flight duty-free services at more reasonable prices.
