[Featured Stock] Aelux, Growing Expectations for Drone Business Expandable to Defense Sector '↑'
Aelux is showing strong performance. It is interpreted that the securities firms' outlook, which suggests that the drone business can expand into reconnaissance, industrial, and defense sectors, has had an impact.
As of 10:11 AM on the 4th, Aelux was trading at 13,750 KRW, up 660 KRW (5.04%) compared to the previous trading day.
Aelux is a company engaged in educational robots and drone businesses. Park Chansol, a researcher at SK Securities, explained, "In the future, the business is likely to grow centered on professional drones. The existing education business mostly grew alongside the after-school market for elementary schools, but going forward, we expect the professional drone business to expand according to market conditions."
He emphasized, "Interest in drone warfare has increased due to the Russia-Ukraine war, and globally, the need for drone flight training has also risen. Accordingly, the demand for Aelux's training drones has significantly increased."
He added, "Aelux possesses proprietary technology for Flight Control Chips. This technology can be applied when expanding the business into reconnaissance, industrial, and defense sectors." He continued, "Although it is difficult to specify the exact timing, it appears that they are currently negotiating product supply with customers outside the education sector."
Researcher Park stated, "The sector to watch going forward is the defense sector. Attention should be paid to the development of low-cost defense drones."
