Japan's Asahi Beer to Raise Prices by Up to 20% Starting Next Month
Asahi, a Japanese beer handled by Lotte Asahi Liquor, will raise its prices starting next month.
According to industry sources on the 23rd, the price of Asahi beer at convenience stores will increase by 8 to 20% from the 1st of next month.
The Asahi Super Dry draft beer can 340ml will be adjusted upward by 8.9%, from 4,500 won to 4,900 won. The Asahi Super Dry bottled beer 640ml will increase by 20%, from 4,500 won to 5,400 won.
The Asahi Super Dry canned beer 350ml will rise by 14.3%, from 3,500 won to 4,000 won, and the same product in 500ml will increase by 8.9%, from 4,500 won to 4,900 won.
