Hampyeong County Operates On-Site Mobile Civil Service Desk for Immediate Solutions
Hampyeong County in Jeonnam announced on the 19th that it is operating a 'Mobile Civil Service Desk' to listen to and resolve residents' concerns on site.
The county operated the Mobile Civil Service Desk at Wolbong Senior Center in Hampyeong-eup on the 18th. The 'Mobile Civil Service Desk' immediately resolves issues that can be handled through simple consultation on site, while other matters are registered with the National Sinmungo system and directed to the relevant departments for processing. The results are then communicated via phone or mail.
To ensure that residents can always conveniently issue civil documents, the county provided training on using the Government24 system and the unmanned civil document issuing machines installed in each township. These efforts have been well received, especially by residents unfamiliar with electronic systems.
One resident who used the civil service desk said, "I often found myself in difficult situations because I didn't know how to use the unmanned issuing machines or Government24. Thanks to the kind instructions, I think I will be able to use them easily from now on."
County Governor Lee Sangik stated, "We are prioritizing the implementation of a friendly administration that residents can truly feel and relate to. We will provide customized civil services for residents by shifting our perspective to view civil complaints not just as cases to be processed, but as opportunities for communication with residents."
