Busan Gijang-gun Launches Free Public Wi-Fi Service on Gijang-gun Buses
Free Public Wi-Fi Now Available
on All Gijang-gun Buses
Gijang-gun, Busan, is launching a free public Wi-Fi service on the 'Gijang-gun Bus' to improve information accessibility for residents and tourists using public transportation.
Following last year's implementation of public Wi-Fi services on all village buses in Gijang-gun, this year the public Wi-Fi installation project has been expanded to the 'Gijang-gun Bus.'
Since the 8th, public Wi-Fi service has been officially launched on all 'Gijang-gun Buses (Gijang 1, Gijang 10, Gijang 57)' in the area, allowing residents and tourists using the Gijang-gun Bus to access wireless internet services for free regardless of their mobile carrier.
Passengers can easily use the wireless internet by selecting 'GIJANG Free WiFi' in the Wi-Fi settings on their smartphones or laptops after boarding the Gijang-gun Bus.
With the launch of free public Wi-Fi on the Gijang-gun Bus, the county expects to help reduce the digital information gap among residents, lower communication costs, and promote local tourism through public transportation.
