On the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday on the 25th, Kim Kyung-il, Mayor of Paju City, visited related local agencies including Paju Fire Station, Munsan Police Substation, and Jori and Tanhyeon Police Stations together with Assemblyman Park Jung. They inspected holiday safety measures and encouraged the on-site workers who are striving for the safety of citizens.

View original imageHe then visited Munsan Traditional Market and Geumchon Traditional Market, purchasing goods directly and exchanging New Year's greetings with citizens visiting the markets and merchants who are diligently working during the holiday. He also listened to the difficulties faced by small business owners firsthand and pledged to carefully reflect the voices from the field in city administration.
Paju City has prioritized public livelihood again this year by promoting the "Livelihood Recovery and Living Stability Support Fund" as the first approval of 2025. Since the 21st, it has been the first in the province to provide a support fund of 100,000 KRW per person. It was confirmed that within four days of the application period, 45% of the eligible recipients had completed their applications.
