Former President Moon Jae-in expressed concern on the 23rd, saying, "It is even more deplorable that the constitutional order is being shaken and the people are being divided due to delusional fantasies and misguided beliefs." This remark is interpreted as targeting President Yoon Suk-yeol.
On the same day, former President Moon made these remarks in a congratulatory speech at the founding symposium of the policy research institute 'Seventh Country LAB,' established by former Democratic Party floor leader Park Kwang-on.
Former President Moon said, "Political behavior is becoming increasingly extreme," and added, "Since the truth witnessed by all citizens is one, I firmly believe that everything will soon be normalized and a new start will be made." He emphasized, "Truth will surely overcome falsehood, and democracy will move forward on the path of victory."
He continued, "Our people are great democrats. Even in times of despair and tragedy, they planted, protected, and nurtured the tree of democracy," and said, "Even today, they resist injustice, stand firmly in solidarity, and have withstood attempts to undermine the constitutional order through military force with their whole bodies, thereby reviving democracy."
He expressed hope that "the Republic of Korea will overcome this period of turmoil well and advance into an era of K-democracy admired by the world," and added, "I hope that, together with the dynamic participation of our great people, we will overcome conflicts and hatred and develop into a mature democratic nation."

He also said, "This year marks the 80th anniversary of liberation," and added, "I hope it will be a historic year in which the spirit of popular sovereignty of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, which launched the democratic republic, is truly fulfilled."
