BNK Gyeongnam Bank Donates 'Baekhap Nanumhoe Fund' to Welfare Facilities in Gyeongnam and Ulsan Regions
On the 23rd, BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated the 'Baekhap Nanumhoe Fund' to welfare facilities in the Gyeongnam and Ulsan areas ahead of the Lunar New Year.
The 17 million KRW Baekhap Nanumhoe Fund was raised by collecting a certain amount (the change) from the monthly salaries of all employees, combined with a donation from BNK Gyeongnam Bank.
The fund was delivered to 45 welfare facilities recommended by branches in the Gyeongnam and Ulsan areas and is expected to be used for the operation expenses of these welfare facilities.
Kim Ji-hoon, Team Leader of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, and Shin Jin-wook, Branch Manager, visited the Masan Hope Regional Self-Support Center (located in Namseong-dong, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon City), recommended by the Changdong Branch, and presented the 'Baekhap Nanumhoe Fund Donation Certificate' to Center Director Choi Mi-hye.
Kim Ji-hoon, Team Leader of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, stated, “Every year during holidays such as Lunar New Year and Chuseok, we have delivered the Baekhap Nanumhoe Fund, prepared with the love of the bank and its employees, to local welfare facilities. We will continue to promote love-sharing projects for the local community and vulnerable groups.”

Meanwhile, apart from donating the Baekhap Nanumhoe Fund to local welfare facilities, BNK Gyeongnam Bank is delivering welfare packages worth approximately 307.5 million KRW to a total of 6,150 vulnerable households in the Gyeongnam and Ulsan areas.
