Catholic University Department of Spatial Consumer Studies Achieves 7 Crowns in Contest
The Department of Spatial Design and Consumer Studies at Catholic University announced on the 23rd that it won seven awards at a nationwide competition as a result of industry-academic collaboration with the famous furniture brand 'Sis Design' and the plastic circular economy system company 'Je4ui Gonggan'.

This achievement stemmed from operating the 'Comprehensive Furniture Design' course for the second semester of the 2024 academic year in an industry-academia linked format.
Students submitted furniture they created by combining advice from industry experts and hands-on practice to the '17th Spatial Design Exhibition', winning one Excellence Award team (Jeong Yunae, Ahn Suyong, Lee Chaeyeon) and six Encouragement Award teams, marking a remarkable success.
Some student works were exhibited at Sis Design's Pangyo showroom, where joint research was conducted, providing opportunities to receive feedback from actual consumers and industry professionals.
