Delivery of Daily Necessities to Vulnerable Groups
and Donations to Welfare Facilities

This event was organized to practice the value of sharing with the local community and to identify and support vulnerable groups in welfare blind spots, so that everyone in the region can enjoy a warm holiday.
The corporation delivered seasoning sets to 1,250 households in permanent rental housing and provided daily necessities to 250 vulnerable households in welfare blind spots. In addition, donations were made to social welfare facilities such as senior welfare centers and facilities for people with disabilities.
President Kim Seungnam said, "Lunar New Year is an important time to check in on each other and share our hearts. I hope that these gifts will provide some comfort to our neighbors in need and that this year will be a happy one for everyone."
Meanwhile, Gwangju Urban Corporation has been practicing sharing activities for marginalized neighbors in the community every holiday and plans to continue leading efforts to identify and support the socially disadvantaged, as well as to carry out social contribution activities tailored to the characteristics of the local community.
