Aerospace and defense specialist Genoco announced on the 22nd that it has signed a core equipment supply contract with Northrop Grumman for the Korean-type mine countermeasure helicopter project.
This contract was conducted as a direct agreement between Genoco and Northrop Grumman. Genoco will provide Northrop Grumman with its laser mine detection system (ALMDS) solution along with engineering, manufacturing, and development (EMD) services.
Accordingly, Genoco will be responsible for manufacturing parts as a hardware supplier of Northrop Grumman's laser mine detection system (ALMDS), and Northrop Grumman will supply core equipment for the Korean-type mine countermeasure helicopter project based on this.

This is the first direct contract between Genoco and Northrop Grumman, and the company stated that it expects additional cooperation opportunities with various global defense companies in the future through this partnership.
