Former Girl Group T-ara Member Areum Indicted on Fraud Charges for 'Defrauding Fans of Money'
Former girl group T-ara member Lee Ah-reum has been brought to trial on charges of borrowing money from acquaintances and failing to repay it.
According to the legal community on the 21st, the Ansan branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office recently arrested and indicted Lee's boyfriend, Mr. A, on fraud charges, while Lee was indicted without detention.
Lee and others are accused of borrowing over 37 million won from three acquaintances, including fans, and not repaying it.
The victims reportedly filed complaints with the police between March and May of last year, stating that the money borrowed had not been repaid.

Lee joined the girl group T-ara in 2012 and was active until she left the group in 2013.
