Jangtaesan Recreational Forest in Daejeon Selected as One of Korea's Top 100 Tourist Attractions
Selected as a Must-Visit Tourist Destination for 2025-2026
Daejeon City announced that Jangtaesan Recreational Forest, located in Jangan-dong, Seo-gu, has been selected as one of the "2025-2026 Top 100 Korean Tourist Attractions."
The "Top 100 Korean Tourist Attractions" is a biennial selection by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, introducing 100 must-visit destinations in Korea.
Jangtaesan Recreational Forest is famous for its dense metasequoia forest. Walking along the suspension bridge, "Jangtaesan Sky Road," visitors can admire metasequoia trees on both sides, and from the "Adventure Sky Tower," they can enjoy panoramic views of the sprawling forest landscape.
Noh Kisoo, Director of Culture, Arts, and Tourism at Daejeon City, said, "Jangtaesan Recreational Forest has consistently been a beloved tourist destination in Daejeon," adding, "The city will actively support efforts to attract more visitors to Jangtaesan."
