Nuclear Industry Association Holds Integrated Briefing Session on Support Projects for Nuclear Power Companies

View original imageThe Korea Nuclear Industry Association announced that, together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Energy Technology Evaluation Institute, it will hold the "Integrated Briefing Session for Nuclear Power Plant Company Support Projects" from the 20th to February 7th to revitalize the nuclear power plant ecosystem in 2025.
The first briefing session for nuclear power plant company support projects, held on the 20th at Gyeongnam Technopark, was attended by over 80 nuclear power plant companies. The association presented on support projects it is promoting, including nuclear ecosystem support projects and financial support projects, advance payment fee support projects for nuclear power plant equipment, super-gap startup fostering projects, and lifelong education center training projects.
The Korea Nuclear Industry Association plans to hold integrated briefing sessions on the 21st in the metropolitan area (Seoul), on the 22nd in the Gyeongbuk region (Gyeongju), on February 6th in the Chungcheong region (Daejeon), and on the 7th in Busan.
No Baek-sik, Vice Chairman of the Korea Nuclear Industry Association, said, "The Nuclear Industry Association has been supporting small and medium-sized nuclear power plant companies through nuclear ecosystem support projects and financial support projects in cooperation with the government," adding, "This year, we plan to actively promote support projects in various fields such as manpower, R&D, overseas market development, and marketing."
Meanwhile, prior to the briefing session, No Baek-sik, Vice Chairman of the Korea Nuclear Industry Association, Kim Myung-joo, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongsangnam-do, and Lee Min-cheol, Vice Chairman of the Korea Nuclear Power Export Industry Association, signed a business agreement to strengthen the overseas export competitiveness of Gyeongnam nuclear power plant companies. Accordingly, the three organizations will work to enhance international cooperation and support network building with overseas nuclear power-related institutions and companies for the overseas export of nuclear power plant companies.
