Since 2018, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation has consistently held such events every holiday to contribute, even in a small way, to revitalizing the local economy. A distinctive feature of the event is the use of pre-prepared eco-friendly shopping bags and traditional market gift certificates (Onnuri gift certificates). The shopping events are conducted by sequentially visiting traditional markets within the Gyeongbuk region.
