Boryeong City Issues 10 Billion Won in Boryeong Sarang Gift Certificates for Lunar New Year
Purchase at a 10% Discount Starting from the 22nd

Boryeong City in South Chungcheong Province announced on the 20th that it will expand the issuance of Boryeong Sarang Gift Certificates to 10 billion KRW in celebration of the Lunar New Year, aiming to revitalize the local economy and boost consumption. This is an increase of 3 billion KRW from the previous 7 billion KRW.
The paper-type gift certificates are available for purchase at NH Nonghyup Bank and 40 designated sales agencies in the area, while mobile gift certificates can be purchased through the 'Jiyeok Sangpumgwon Chak' application.
The gift certificates can be purchased at a 10% discount starting from the 22nd, with a monthly purchase limit of 700,000 KRW per person.
The list of sales agencies for the paper-type certificates can be found on the Boryeong City website, and the mobile certificates can be used for QR payments via the app or issued as cards at partnered financial institutions such as Nonghyup, Saemaeul Geumgo, Shinhyup, and the post office.
The purchased gift certificates can be used at over 4,000 affiliated stores in Boryeong, including restaurants, marts, and academies.
Mayor Kim Dongil said, "We expect the issuance of the Boryeong Sarang Gift Certificates to both ease the financial burden of our citizens and revitalize the local economy. I hope everyone enjoys a prosperous and warm holiday while preparing for the Lunar New Year with the Boryeong Sarang Gift Certificates."
