The Jayu Suho Peace Museum in Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyeong-deok) announced on the 16th that it was selected as the number one memorial facility in Gyeonggi Province in the '2024 Memorial Facility Museum Satisfaction Survey' conducted by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs on the 15th.
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs conducted a one-on-one face-to-face individual survey targeting visitors to 77 memorial facilities nationwide from September 13 to October 20 last year.
The evaluation criteria included awareness, usage status, satisfaction with exhibition facility services, and linkage with local tourism. The Jayu Suho Peace Museum scored 93.1 points, ranking first among memorial facilities in Gyeonggi Province, receiving particularly high marks for convenience in viewing and exhibition content.

Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon-si stated, “The Jayu Suho Peace Museum, which opened in 2002, has established itself as a representative memorial facility in Gyeonggi Province,” adding, “We will make further efforts to enhance visitor satisfaction through expanding exhibition functions to foster patriotism, installing new advanced content suited to the times, and spreading veterans’ culture.”
