Anseong-si, Suspension of Parking Enforcement Around Traditional Markets During Lunar New Year Holiday
Public and Roadside Parking Lots Also Operated Free of Charge
Gyeonggi-do Anseong City will suspend illegal parking enforcement on roads around traditional markets such as Anseong Matchum Market and Jungang Market to revitalize the local economy during the Seol holiday. The suspension period will last for 12 days, from the 22nd of this month to the 2nd of next month.
The parking enforcement suspension zones include ▲Anseong Matchum Market (both sides 300m from Seoin Intersection to Inji Intersection) ▲Jungang Market (both sides 100m from Seoin Intersection to Anseong Nonghyup, and both sides 500m from Seokjeong Samgeori to Inji Intersection) surrounding roads.
Additionally, the city will operate public and roadside parking lots free of charge for 7 days from the 25th to the 31st during the Seol holiday period to provide parking convenience for returning visitors and travelers. The free parking lots include building-type public parking lots in Seoin-dong, Dongbon-dong, and Seokjeong-dong, as well as roadside parking lots around traditional markets.
