Idol Champ Donates 10 Million Won to Good Neighbors

View original imageThe child rights-focused non-governmental organization (NGO) Good Neighbors announced on the 16th that the MBC Plus K-POP fandom service ‘IDOLCHAMP’ donated 10 million won. The donated funds will be used to provide sanitary pad kits (sanitary pads and hygiene products) to 100 girls from domestic crisis families and to support 100 children facing food insecurity during school vacations with meal kits and groceries.
‘IDOLCHAMP’ is a fandom app where K-POP idol fandoms support their favorite idols through voting, and it also operates a ‘Star Sharing’ service where donations are made in the name of stars.
The donation was raised through the ‘IDOLCHAMP’ Star Sharing service, with fandoms of 22 idol groups including Kang Daniel, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, Ha Sung-woon, ENHYPEN, and Baekhyun participating in the sharing.
