[Click eStock] "Huneed, Benefiting from Defense Industry Market Growth"
ResearchAlum forecasted on the 13th that Hunid will benefit from the growth of the global defense industry market. Along with a 'positive' stock price outlook, it presented a target price of 13,000 KRW.
Choi Seonghwan, a researcher at ResearchAlum, explained, "Hunid has secured long-term growth momentum by winning the next-generation Tactical Information Communication Network (TICN) development project."
He added, "Within the TICN project, Hunid is responsible for the large-capacity wireless transmission system," and "The budget for this sector is approximately 1.4 trillion KRW." Furthermore, he emphasized, "The remaining contract volume will be concentrated over the next two years," and "Considering the 40 billion KRW TICN performance-based logistics (PBL) contract signed with Hanwha Systems last November, continuous achievements in the defense communication sector can be expected."
Researcher Choi analyzed, "The global defense industry market is expected to grow from about 2.4 trillion USD in 2023 to approximately 3.7 trillion USD by 2032, with an average annual growth rate of 5.0%," and "Geopolitical tensions, increased defense budgets, and accelerated development of advanced military technologies will drive market growth."
He continued, "This is an important opportunity to strengthen the competitiveness of K-defense in overseas markets," explaining, "Hunid's main business, military communication systems, is a core infrastructure of modern warfare, and the importance of integration with advanced weapon systems such as drones, missiles, and reconnaissance is increasing."
