Joining Forces for the SDV Era... HL Clemoove and Harman Form Platform Collaboration Partnership
Joint Development of Central Compute Platform
HL Group's autonomous driving solution company HL Clemoove is preparing for the software-defined vehicle (SDV) era by partnering with Harman, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics.
On the 8th (local time), HL Clemoove announced that it signed a central compute platform partnership agreement with Harman at CES 2025, the world's largest new technology exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.
Accordingly, the two companies decided to complete the central compute platform based on the integration technology of two different functional domain controllers. The platform integrates autonomous driving and infotainment functions, enabling continuous software updates on a single central controller embedded with both functions. This is expected to lead to cost reduction, design flexibility, and improved energy efficiency.
Yoon Pal-ju, CEO of HL Clemoove, said, "This partnership was formed to explore new possibilities in the SDV era by strengthening the connection between autonomous driving and infotainment," adding, "We will accelerate preparations for innovative solutions that will lead future mobility."
