Incheon City Tour Sees 16% Increase in Visitors Last Year... Foreign Visitors Up 85%
Incheon Tourism Organization announced on the 8th that the number of Incheon City Tour users reached a total of 32,199 last year, marking a 16.3% increase compared to the previous year.
Annual revenue from the City Tour also rose by 16%, from 190 million KRW in 2023 to 220 million KRW last year.
In particular, through cooperation with related organizations such as Incheon Port Authority and Incheon Airport Corporation, efforts to attract cruise passengers and airport transfer passengers, as well as linking with airline reservation platforms and global gaming events, led to an 85.2% increase in foreign users compared to the previous year.

View original imageThis year, Incheon Tourism Organization plans to operate two circular City Tour routes (Songdo International City∼Gaehangjang, Songdo International City∼Yeongjongdo) and six themed routes.
Additionally, the themed routes, which were previously operated with two 22-seat buses, will be reorganized by eliminating low-utilization routes and focusing on core routes, operating with one 45-seat bus. Along with this, City Tour fares will be adjusted to reflect current conditions, while maintaining the previous year's fare levels for citizens, people with disabilities, and national merit recipients.

A representative from Incheon Tourism Organization stated, "On holidays and weekends, the buses were fully occupied to the point where passengers had to wait over an hour," adding, "To increase weekday ridership, we will strengthen efforts to attract foreign users, focusing on transfer passengers at Incheon Airport."
