Gyeongju City Veterinary Association Donates 10 Million Won Scholarship to Foster Local Talent

Gyeongju City in Gyeongbuk is joining forces between the public and private sectors to nurture local talent.
The Gyeongju City Veterinary Association (President Kim Young-woo) announced on the 7th that it donated 10 million KRW in scholarships to the Gyeongju City Scholarship Foundation on the 6th to foster future leaders of the Gyeongju region and promote local educational development.

The Gyeongju City Veterinary Association contributes to the development of Gyeongju's livestock industry through livestock epidemic prevention activities and quarantine projects for livestock farmers, and participates consistently in community giving and sharing activities, such as donating aid funds and scholarships every year.

Kim Young-woo, President of the Gyeongju City Veterinary Association, said, “We decided to donate scholarships to contribute to scholarship projects for neighbors and students in need using the labor and activity expenses from participating in livestock quarantine activities,” adding, “We are glad that the warm sincerity of our members can be of some help to the local community.”
