View original imageThe ‘AI Bidet’ developed by Professor Kwon Ki-ryong’s research team is an AI restroom system that analyzes bowel movement habits in the bathroom using artificial intelligence algorithms.
This system applies innovative technologies that utilize sensors combining video analysis and chemical analysis methods along with AI algorithms to monitor the user’s health condition and provide feedback.
After the user finishes using the toilet equipped with this system and presses a button, the sensor measures the intestinal health status and informs the user through a mobile app, enabling systematic management of bowel health.
Kim Bo-sung, CEO of She’s M, enrolled in the graduate program of the Department of IT Convergence Applied Engineering at Pukyong National University in 2022, completed his master’s course, and jointly conducted research with Professor Kwon Ki-ryong’s team to develop this system.
With this technology, She’s M was selected as one of the ‘Top 50 Excellent R&D Achievements of Small and Medium Enterprises’ by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2023, receiving the Minister’s Award. Furthermore, on December 17, 2024, at the 2024 Medical ICT Convergence Center Performance Report Meeting, She’s M was recognized as a contributor to the development of Busan’s medical industry and received a commendation from the Mayor of Busan, affirming its excellence.
She’s M has commercialized the technology and launched the system as an actual product, collaborating with bidet rental companies and advancing into the domestic and international bidet markets.
