Anseong City Signs Business Agreement with Anseong Hospital and Seoanseong Clinic for Long-term Care Home Medical Center
Providing Home Medical Care, Nursing, and Care Services to Long-term Care Recipients
On the 6th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that on the 3rd, it signed a business agreement with Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Anseong Hospital and Seoanseong Clinic of the Anseong Medical Welfare Social Cooperative to operate a pilot project for the Long-term Care Home Medical Center.
The "Long-term Care Home Medical Center" is a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nurses, and social workers who visit the homes of long-term care recipients who have difficulty visiting medical institutions due to mobility issues, providing medical treatment, nursing, and linking care services.
Previously, the city operated the first pilot project with Seoanseong Clinic starting in December 2022, and last year designated Anseong Hospital additionally to conduct the second pilot project. With this third designation, the two institutions will provide continuous home medical care and care services to long-term care recipients.
By using this service, long-term care recipients can receive integrated medical and care services at home instead of hospitals or facilities, including monthly doctor visits once a month, nurse visits twice a month, and social worker visits as needed. The costs are supported by adding long-term care insurance fees to health insurance fees, with a 30% co-payment for the visit fees.
