Dongmyung University Department of Advertising and Public Relations, 3 GS SHOP Content Leader Scholarship Recipients... 11 Consecutive Times
Selection of Students Lee Sujeong, Noh Hongbi, and Shim Hyunhee
Dongmyung University announced on the 6th that Lee Sujeong, a junior, Noh Hongbi, a sophomore, and Shim Hyunhee, a student in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, were selected as the 13th GS Retail ‘GS SHOP Content Leader Scholars.’
According to the Korean Society for Journalism and Communication Studies, a total of 21 students from media-related departments nationwide were selected as the 13th GS SHOP Content Leaders. Among them, three students from Dongmyung University’s Department of Advertising and Public Relations were selected, making it one of the top producers of content leaders alongside Yonsei University and Kongju National University. Among universities in the Busan area, the only undergraduates selected as content leaders were the three students from Dongmyung University’s Department of Advertising and Public Relations.
Lee Sujeong, Noh Hongbi, and Shim Hyunhee demonstrated excellent media literacy skills in cooperative classes with the Busan Viewer Media Center of the Korea Viewer Media Foundation and have achieved various awards in media contests both on and off campus.
Lee Jeonggi, head of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Dongmyung University, said, “Our department conducts intensive public-academic cooperative classes with the Busan Viewer Media Center, covering more than two courses, and maintains close cooperation with local advertising and marketing companies as well as media outlets. This collaboration contributes to enhancing students’ content planning and production capabilities.”
The department has produced 17 students as GS Retail GS SHOP Content Leaders for 11 consecutive years, demonstrating its reputation as a prestigious institution for content education.

The GS SHOP Content Leader program, sponsored annually by GS Retail and selected by the Korean Society for Journalism and Communication Studies, was established to nurture talented university and graduate students with skills in the broadcasting and video fields.
