Kia is celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Bongo launch by introducing the 'Smart Selection' trim with enhanced product competitiveness on the 6th, and will begin full-scale sales.
The Smart Selection trim is a practical trim that offers a reasonable price while applying specifications preferred by customers as standard.

View original imageIt is launched as the LPG Turbo 1.2t and EV (electric vehicle) 1t Smart Selection, inheriting the core performance of higher trims while securing price competitiveness with practical specifications.
The LPG Turbo 1.2t Smart Selection comes standard with a 5-speed automatic transmission and has a power output of 159 horsepower (PS) and a maximum torque of 30.0 kgf·m. The EV 1t Smart Selection uses the same battery as the GL trim, providing a single-charge driving range of 211 km.
In particular, the LPG Turbo 1t Smart Selection is equipped with a hard suspension as standard to enable stable driving even when carrying heavy loads. The hard suspension strengthens the spring stiffness to maintain vehicle stability under large load capacity and minimizes body sway during cargo transport.
Additionally, it enhances product value by equipping a differential lock device as standard, which helps ensure safe driving on rough or slippery roads.
The selling price of the Bongo Smart Selection trim is 22.15 million KRW for the LPG model ▲1t 2WD Extra Long Wheelbase King Cab and 24.95 million KRW for the ▲1.2t 2WD Extra Long Wheelbase King Cab. The EV model ▲1t 2WD Extra Long Wheelbase King Cab is priced at 43.15 million KRW (before reflecting electric vehicle subsidies and tax benefits).
