Available for viewing at the respective Eup, Myeon, and Dong Administrative Welfare Centers until the 26th
Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 3rd that it will begin public inspection and announcement of the "Gwangju City Growth Management Plan Revision (Draft)" to comprehensively review the validity of the growth management plan established in 2019 and to establish management measures for non-urbanized areas and induce planned development.
The growth management plan, established under the "National Land Planning and Utilization Act," is a guiding plan designed to prevent disorderly development in areas with high development pressure and to promote planned development. It includes contents related to infrastructure planning and the use, arrangement, and form of buildings.
The city set 57.52㎢ (270 sites) of zones through the growth management plan established in 2019, and through this revision, it plans to expand the zones to 68.25㎢ (344 sites) by reflecting the current status of development activities and legal amendments.
The main revision contents include ▲re-examination of standards for securing infrastructure and front setbacks ▲revision of passive incentive standards ▲re-establishment of classification criteria considering location characteristics.
This revision (draft) identifies problems and complaints arising from the existing growth management plan implementation guidelines and prepares reasonable improvement measures suitable for the current situation. It also actively reflects residents' opinions to establish a more effective plan.
The inspection period is until the 26th, and the inspection locations are the City Hall Urban Planning Division and the administrative welfare centers of the eup, myeon, and dong corresponding to the growth management plan zones. Residents can submit written opinions at the inspection locations during the inspection period.
