DH Autoware, "Headquarters Relocated to Gwangju SoBuJang Specialized Complex"... "Full-Scale Expansion of Electric Vehicle Components Business"
DH Autoware, a specialized automotive electronics company, is relocating its headquarters to the Gwangju SoBuJang (Materials, Parts, and Equipment) specialized complex and expanding its autonomous vehicle electronics business. On the 3rd, DH Autoware announced that it changed the location of its headquarters to '190 Bitgeurindong-ro, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City' to enhance management efficiency and maximize business synergy.
Starting with the headquarters relocation, DH Autoware plans to accelerate research and development and mass production of electronic components for autonomous vehicles. To this end, it plans to invest 100 billion KRW by 2028. Currently, it has secured a site of 24,049㎡ (7,275 pyeong) in the Gwangju Bitgreen Industrial Complex and is operating a first-phase automotive jig (JIG) production facility with a total floor area of 7,895㎡ (2,388 pyeong).
DH Autoware intends to make a full-scale entry into the autonomous driving core components market and maximize performance through the construction of a second factory in Gwangju. The company is promoting the construction of the second factory with the goal of relocating the automotive electronics division of the Pyeongtaek plant to Gwangju by additionally purchasing 14,916㎡ (4,512 pyeong) of land around the Bitgreen Industrial Complex, and plans to start full-scale operations from March this year, according to the company.
A DH Autoware official said, "Through the headquarters relocation, we aim to strengthen cooperation with the regional industrial ecosystem and maximize synergy in the electronics business," adding, "We will accelerate the development of autonomous vehicle parts and technologies to further strengthen our position in the mobility market."

The Bitgreen National Industrial Complex was newly designated as an 'Opportunity Development Zone' by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy last year. Accordingly, Gwangju Metropolitan City plans to provide tax benefits and regulatory relaxations and focus on fostering industries related to future mobility fields such as electronic components.
